Friends:
I have been serving in the Church of the Nazarene since 1996 when I first served as Youth Pastor at Hillcrest COTN in Edinboro, PA. Since that time, I have served both the Pittsburgh and the Central California Districts faithfully. I have served in Modesto and Ceres, CA and Mercer, PA as well as served on staff with Youth for Christ in Stanislaus County in California. I most recently served in Western PA volunteering at Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church as needed.
My wife Mandy and I were married in September of 1998. We have 5 boys and one daughter-in-law. Our two youngest boys reside with us here in Minot now while the oldest three are pursuing life in western PA still. Mandy and I love serving the church and the community. In the past we opened our home as foster parents and adopted our three youngest boys. Our family is an active one with sons involved in sports such as football/baseball/wrestling/basketball/track, music, and the arts. We have spent many days and evenings in the bleachers. I have also been privileged to coach some of the boys from little league all the way up to varsity high school. Mandy and I also love to spend time in the outdoors as well - camping, fishing/hunting, kayaking, hiking and more.
God has created each and every one of us with great purpose in His love. One of the greatest callings in ministry is helping others realize who they are in Christ and helping them to know just how much God loves them. No matter how broken any of us feel at times, God sent His son Jesus so that we may know His saving grace, have relationship with Christ, and to live a life renewed. I know that we all have the potential to impact God's Kingdom with the gifts, talents, and desire that God has given us as we partner with the Holy Spirit and His power. God has called us to lead, and that means that He has called us to partner here in Minot WITH YOU! Together we can do great things as we intentionally live out a life of Loving God and Serving Him. This means that we love one another and serve each other - together.
I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you better. If you are visiting our church page for the first time - it is my prayer that we have an opportunity to meet on a Sunday morning. We would love to have you visit; we promise to do our very best to make you feel at home. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to be prayed for.
With Christ's Blessings
Pastor Dana
